Jeff and Nikki met in San Francisco’s colorful Mission District so naturally it was the perfect place to shoot their engagement session. We had set the date up weeks ago not realizing it was the day of the World Cup finals — it was fun seeing revelers pour into the streets when Spain won. We went to the Latin America Club where they had their first kiss and also where they used to grab a drink while their laundry was finishing next door. Our final stop was a mural for a backdrop.
I had asked them to bring a fun prop to the session, and these two creative romantics brought Romeo and Juliet…LOVE IT. Their Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy couldn’t make it but she was represented!
Jeff used to be our next door neighbor back when we both lived in lofts — I’m so happy that he found true love with Nikki and I can’t wait to photograph their October wedding.
