I feel so honored to have been chosen for this live TV interview that was aired this morning, and so very excited to share it with you! My family photography was featured while I shared tips and tricks on what makes a good photo, how to best prepare, and suggestions on how to dress for a portrait session.
Click HERE or on the screenshot below to hear my suggestions on how to capture the perfect holiday card picture. Thank you KTVU crew! It was so such a blessing and so fun to work with you on this segment, and to meet Sal Castaneda whom I’ve been listening to for many years.

What a delight it was to photograph darling two month-old Seneca and her family for her at-home portrait session! Their sun-filled, modern styled house was a great location to photograph their sweet daughter. We were blessed with some great autumn weather on the day of her portrait session.

Shortly after I arrived Seneca took a little power nap for the family portrait which was just fine by us which allowed me to get some close-up shots of her eyelashes and sleepy face. When she woke up she was bright-eyed and ready for photos. She has the most beautiful deep blue colored eyes that compliment her auburn hair perfectly. I was amazed at how easy it was for her o lift her head up as high as she could which made for some great photos.

This session was a baby shower gift from friends of theirs. If you are looking for the perfect give to give this Christmas, please feel free to contact me about gift certificates.

This sweet family was a blast to photograph. Their seven year-old son is full of spunk and playful energy so he kept me on my toes as I chased him all around the park! The first 20 minutes he started out a bit shy but after that he was totally into having his photo taken.

I had the pleasure of photographing this son and his family dog recently on a beautiful overcast day, perfect for capturing the fall foliage.  The nine month-old puppy did a great job on her first photo session!

Mister Lorenzo broke a few records at his first of three portrait sessions. First off, he has the most perfect baby skin (no Photoshop!) and is the strongest newborn I’ve ever photographed. At 9 days young and 8 pounds he was already lifting his head, doing mini crunches, and he and I wrestled over whether his arms would stay in the wrap or not. I doubled wrapped him for good measure but this did not phase his strength as he’d wriggle his way right out of it.

Once all of his needs were met he not only feel asleep and stayed put but surprised us all by busting out the most adorable grins! So happy to have captured those for his parents who purchased a Grow With Me package which means I have honor of photographing him two more times! The next session will be as a six month-old when his two pug dogs will join in on the fun and will document his milestone of sitting up unassisted, his chubby cherub rolls, and maybe a couple of baby teeth poking out. His third session will be when he turns one to celebrate his milestone of walking for an outdoors session.
