I can’t wait to hand this beautiful keepsake album to my client soon! Here’s a sneak peek of some of the pages. It’s always fun to see which images the parents cherish the most — I love that this family chose a mixture of candid shots and posed, and a range of close and far away shots. This family went with my suggestion of “less is more” and to choose just their favorites for an image-heavy design. I like designing pages that play the best photos as 2-page panoramic layouts that allow the photos to breathe so to speak.
No one has enough wall space to put up every single image they love which makes albums a creative way to preserve favorite images to be treasured and enjoyed for many years. It’s also a fun way place to put some of the more quirkier moments and series shots such as the the four on the grass with mom and baby, and also the 3-image series of dad tossing his baby girl in the air. Albums may be put on display on a coffee table or credenza, propped on small easel, or stored on a shelf. For eight years I designed wedding albums for my clients and now I am so happy to use that experience to design beautiful albums for my portrait clients! Check out what the inside and outside of the albums look like HERE.
Every album I design is unique and a personalized product that is like no other. I guide parents through the process of culling their favorite images down to a concise selection, and ask them to give me feedback on the original design which they either sign off on before it goes to print, or they may submit requests for changes making this album and the process truly interactive! I love giving my clients a full service experience.
