Abby and Eli’s inspiring wedding day started with 90 degree weather at the always charming Olema Inn where their intimate ceremony took place in the apple orchard. Afterward, we took a drive up the road where the bride hailed a cow and the groom carried her over the threshold of ivy to a rustic barn — so romantic!
There are some weddings that I accept simply because I really like the couple (even if it is a Thursday like this one). Abby and Eli are that sweet and beautiful couple…we clicked right away and that connection continued throughout the evening as I captured their special day. Their wedding was so much like my own (I’m celebrating our 12-year anniversary to my wonderful man tomorrow!). Like us, they married in a small venue surrounded by a tight-knit guest list of 70. Abby assembled her own dahlia bouquet, but unlike me, she bound hers properly so that it stayed beautifully intact all day.
I am so excited for the honeymooners to return so that I can share these images with them! Please check back soon for more posts from this wedding of the reception, guests, details, venue and Abby’s unique and beautiful dress and ‘something blue’ shoes.
