San Gabriel Mission| Angela Lang Bay Area Location Photographer

Last week my family and I traveled to Los Angeles for many reasons, but one was to continue our goal of visiting the California Missions. This year we explored San Gabriel Mission. Each one has its own charm and interest and I’ve been enjoying photographing the unique and visual details.

Some of the interesting features of San Gabriel is the very large Jesus on the cross surrounded by beautiful foliage, a varied cacti garden, wall mural, and lifelike dollhouse-sized sculptures of all the missions. I learned that this one was home to the very first orange trees in California. If you haven’t been to a mission before, you should take a day trip. They are quiet, peaceful, and full of history.

Hi Angela, I am a friend of Betsy and Ken. You photo of a softer Betsy thrilled me. I mentioned it. Then I scrolled down and found your web site on Betsy’s page.

I live in Provence. I am coming to California this September. I am an author. I need some good “glam” but natural sort of photos for my books and for marketing purposes. Shall I ring you when I am in California to set up some kind of app’t.?

    Many thanks, Suzanne White
